Which List Is Yours?

You Applied For Look In Students Listed
Re-evaluation Notification No. 2601-24 65
Retotal Notification No. 261-007 18
Re-checking, May 2025 session Re-Checking Notification 1

The first two lists are from the Re-Evaluation branch. The third is from Result-1 Branch.

What Is the Difference?

In simple words, a retotal is usually a fresh count of marks already given, while a re-evaluation is usually a new look at your written answers. The university’s PDFs do not define these terms, so please go by the rules in your own application form.

The lists also read a little differently. The retotal list shows your earlier marks and your new result side by side. The re-evaluation list shows only the marks after re-evaluation, so keep your old marksheet nearby to compare.

How to Check Your Marks

  1. Tap your list in the links table below.
  2. Use the search option and enter your university roll number.
  3. If it does not appear, look for your paper ID, or read through the list. These lists are short.
  4. Check the subject and semester, then read the marks at the end of your row.

Which Courses Do These Cover?

A wide mix, but not everything. In the re-evaluation list you will see courses like BBA, B.Com, BA Multidisciplinary, BSc Life Science and MA Hindi, as well as M.Sc Mathematics and a Diploma in Yoga. Many retotal rows are for science subjects such as Chemistry and Physics.

Nothing here replaces your regular semester result. If you did not apply for a review, you do not need these files.

Your Marks Went Down, or Did Not Change?

That can feel disappointing. Please read your application rules or the university’s guidelines to see which marks now count, and whether you have another option. These lists do not explain that, so it is best to ask the university directly, not your friends or a social media group.

Save These Things

  • The PDF with your entry
  • The notification number and date
  • A copy of your application receipt

You may need them when you ask for an updated marksheet. The notices do not explain that process.

Who Can You Ask?

The re-evaluation lists give reevaluation@gurugramuniversity.ac.in. The university’s main phone numbers are 0124-2788001 to 05. Include your roll number and paper ID in your message, so that staff can find your case quickly.
