Applied to teach Political Science, Economics, Geography or Hindi at a college in Arunachal Pradesh? A new interview list is out, and interviews begin on 11 November 2026. That is very soon, so please check right away.
One small warning: many websites simply say “APPSC”. This one is from Itanagar, not from Andhra Pradesh, so please make sure you applied to the right commission. See more updates on our Result page.

Have your application number ready, because the list uses numbers. This is a scanned file, so you may need to read through it by eye.
Why Did Your Marks Matter So Much?
There was no written test for this stage. The commission looked at your Academic Performance Score, using a table from the UGC Regulations of 2018. Simply put, it adds up points from your academic record and research. A strong academic and research record helps here.
Found Your Number? Well Done!
Here is how we suggest using the days before your interview. These are our suggestions, not the commission’s rules.
- Revise the core topics from your subject, along with your own research.
- Be ready to explain your thesis and publications simply.
- Think about how you would teach a topic to first-year students.
- Keep your certificates in order, in one file.
What About the Admit Card?
The commission will announce the download date separately. Your admit card will have the date, time, venue and reporting details. So please check the APPSC website every day. Your interview may fall after 11 November, because that is just the starting date.
If you live far from Itanagar, please look at travel options now, and keep them flexible until your admit card arrives.
Number Not in the List?
We know this is disappointing. The commission says its decision is final, and it will not consider further requests about the score or eligibility. Our advice is to look at which parts of your score could grow, such as publications and research work. These may help in future openings.
Teaching Another Subject?
This notice covers only these four subjects. Annexure numbers start at 12, which suggests that other subjects had earlier lists. Please look on the APPSC website for your own subject.
