Quick Details

What Details
Exam CDS (I) 2026
IMA List 155 candidates
INA List 63 candidates
AFA List 25 candidates
Medical Results Not included in these lists
Your Candidature Provisional for now

Why Is It Called Provisional?

It means the final check is not over. Army Headquarters is still verifying date of birth and educational qualifications. So your place depends on your documents matching what you claimed. Please do not treat this list as a joining letter.

Which List Should You Look At?

There are three separate lists, one for each academy. You may appear in more than one, as UPSC says some names are common. Each list is in order of merit, so please check all the courses you applied for.

Academy Course in the Notice Vacancies Stated
IMA Dehradun 162nd (DE) Course 100
INA Ezhimala Executive Branch (General Service)/Hydro 26
AFA Hyderabad No. 221 F(P) Course 32

Some of these seats are for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders.

Your Documents: A Simple Checklist

The commission asks you to send originals and attested photocopies. Here is how we suggest preparing:

  • Date of birth certificate
  • Educational qualification certificates
  • Attested photocopies of each one
  • A copy of everything, kept at home

Send them to Army, Naval or Air Headquarters, based on your first choice. UPSC does not state an exact address or deadline in this notice, so please check your SSB and joining instructions. We could not confirm those details here.

Moved House Recently?

Please tell the relevant headquarters directly, and quickly. An important letter sent to your old address could cost you valuable time.

What Does the Medical Part Mean for You?

Medical results have not been counted in these lists. So being on the list and being medically fit are two different steps. If you have any pending medical matter, please follow it up with the concerned authority.

Name Not on the List?

We know that hurts. Please remember that you reached a stage many candidates never see. Our suggestion is to think about your SSB experience while it is fresh. Note what went well and what you would change. Your marks will come later, as UPSC publishes them only after the Officers’ Training Academy final result.

What Is the SSB Stage You Just Cleared?

The Services Selection Board interview tests much more than written knowledge. These lists are based on the April 2026 written exam together with those interviews. So your name here shows you passed both stages. The steps still in progress are medical results and the checking of your documents, and that is why we suggest keeping every certificate ready.

Please also keep your admit card, your SSB call-up papers and a few recent photographs in one folder. This is our general advice, and it can save time if the headquarters writes to you.
