If you took the Indian Bank Specialist Officer exam on 31 May, here is your update. The bank has released its selection list, and it is short: just two pages, with 129 registration numbers.
It may look confusing at first, because it is arranged by post codes. Let us make it simple. See more on our Latest Results page.

Quick Details
| Point | Information |
|---|---|
| Bank | Indian Bank |
| Jobs | Manager, Senior Manager, Assistant Manager |
| Advertised Vacancies | 350 |
| Exam Date | 31 May 2026 |
| List Date | 29 October 2026 |
| Numbers Selected | 129 |
How the List Works
The bank hired specialists in many fields, so each role has its own post code. The list starts with Manager – DC Operations and ends with Assistant Manager – Architect.
You only need to look at one thing: the post code you applied for.
What Does NIL Mean?
Out of 31 post codes, six are marked NIL. This means no registration number is shown for that code. If you applied under one of these, then nobody has been listed for it in this notice.
Why 129 When There Were 350 Vacancies?
You may notice that the list is much smaller than the advertised vacancies. The notice details we have do not explain this. So please do not assume anything about a second list, unless the bank announces one.
How to Check Your Result
| Step | What to Do |
|---|---|
| 1 | Keep your application form ready for your post code and registration number |
| 2 | Open the PDF from the links below |
| 3 | Go to your post code |
| 4 | Look for your registration number there |

What to Check
| Check This | Why |
|---|---|
| Registration number | Match every digit |
| Post code | Numbers only count under the code you applied for |
| Job title | Confirms the right role |
Your Number Is There
Well done! Now check your email, including spam. The bank has told selected candidates to look there for the provisional offer and next instructions.
| Do This Now | Why |
|---|---|
| Use your registered email regularly | Updates will reach you there |
| Keep certificates and experience letters ready | You will probably be asked for them |
| Avoid replying to unknown senders | Fake offer emails can happen |
The last two points are general advice from us.
Your Number Is Not There
It is disappointing, but bank exams come around regularly. Our details do not mention a waiting list or re-check. You can use this experience for the next specialist officer exam, as you now know the format.
