Vacancy Details and Category-wise Numbers
The note does not share how many posts are open under each notification, or how they split by category. You will need to open your own notification for that. The extension itself does not add or remove any vacancies, as far as the note says.
How to Use the Extra Days
Here is a simple plan. These tips are ours, not APPSC’s.
- Day 1: Read your notification, and check age, degree and other rules.
- Day 2: Gather your certificates, photo and signature in the right format.
- Day 3: Fill in the form, read it twice, and then submit.
- Then: Save the PDF, and start preparing.
Selection and Exam Pattern
Each notification has its own scheme. As an example, the Executive Officer Grade-III exam has a Paper I on General Studies and Mental Ability, and a Paper II on Hindu Philosophy and Temple System. Each has 150 questions for 150 marks. Wrong answers lose one-third of a mark. Your own post may have different papers, so always check its annexure.
How to Apply
Everything happens on psc.ap.gov.in. Log in or register, pick your notification, fill the form and submit. Sending your form any other way will not be accepted.
A Word on the Last Night
APPSC’s form stays open till 11:59 PM on 12 November. Even so, servers often slow down on the last evening. If you have a choice, finish it by the 10th. Should you face a payment problem, you will still have time to fix it.
