Filling in your Jharkhand Board form for 2027? Please slow down for a moment, because this one small sheet decides what will be printed on your admit card and marksheet. Once your school submits it online, you cannot correct anything.
Here is what to watch out for, whether you are in Class 10 or Class 12. Our Admission page has related updates.

How It Works
You do not apply online on your own. You fill in a paper sheet, called the Student Information Sheet, and hand it to your school. The school then enters it on the portal, and gives you a checklist to verify.
When Is the Last Date?
We looked for it, and it is not on the sheets or the notice page we checked. Your school should know, so please ask your class teacher today. Do not wait for someone to remind you.
Class 10: Your Golden Rule
Everything must match your Class 9 Mark Sheet. Keep it next to you while you fill in the form. Check:
- Spelling of your name and your parents’ names
- Date of birth
- Registration number. Your school can fill this in from its checklist, so ask if you do not know it.
Class 12: Your Golden Rule
Everything must match your Registration Card, and you must give a copy with the form. You also choose your faculty: Arts, Commerce or Science.
That Swapping Question
Class 12 students may see this: if you fail in an optional subject, can it be swapped with your additional subject so that you pass? It only applies if you are in Commerce or Science, and you chose a language as your additional subject. Talk to a teacher before you tick Yes or No, since it can affect your result.
Five Small Things That Cause Big Problems
- Photo: it should be under 3 months old. An old school photo will not do.
- Pen: use black ball point only.
- Boxes: your photo and signature must stay inside the boxes.
- Category: tick the right one, General, SC, ST, BC-1, BC-2 or EWS.
- Parent’s signature: do not forget it.
Checking the Printout
Your school will give you a printed checklist. This is your final chance. Read it slowly, and ask a parent to read it too, because a second pair of eyes can spot what you missed. If you see a mistake, tell your Head right away.
Have You Failed or Are Studying Privately?
There are different sheets for you. Ex-students should use the ex-student sheet, and private candidates share one with regular students. Make sure you pick the right link below.
