Important Dates
Reach the Mission Director’s office on Sahastradhara Road by 9:30 AM on 17 November 2026. Interviews begin at 10:30 AM, and registration shuts at 11:30 AM. So there is little room for being late.
One line in the instructions mentions “03 December 2025”. That seems to be an old leftover, since the same line and the main table both say 17 November 2026.
Vacancy Details and Category-wise Details
Three specialities are open. Numbers and the list of facilities are on nhm.uk.gov.in. No category split appears in the advert pages we read.
Who Can Apply?
- MBBS plus a PG degree or diploma in your speciality, from an MCI-recognised institution.
- Age up to 65. It may be relaxed up to 70 for some, on a case-by-case basis.
- If you are in regular or bonded government service, you need a No Objection Certificate. Without it, you cannot appear.
Selection and Exam Pattern
There is no written exam. Your sealed proposal and interview are what matter.
Thinking About Your Quote
Please look at the facility list first, because your top-up amount has to relate to the places you prefer. A remote post may matter differently to you than one near a town. We cannot advise you on a figure, and the advert does not give a range. Talk to colleagues who have worked in the state if you can.
Your Paperwork Checklist
The list is long, so begin well in advance:
- Prescribed proposal format from the website
- Your CV, degree, mark sheets and registration
- Experience certificates
- Medical fitness self-declaration
- Rs. 10 stamp paper affidavit, saying that there is no pending case and you are not in regular or bonded service
- Declaration about your clinical practice or surgeries
A stamp paper affidavit may take a trip to a notary or vendor, so please do not leave it for the last day. That tip is ours.
How to Apply
There is no online step in the instructions. You take your sealed envelope to the interview, and hand it in on that day. Make sure the quote is clear, since the advert asks for clear proposals.
After Selection
You will need to apply for registration with the Uttarakhand Medical Council, if you do not already have it.
