Part-Time or Full-Time?
Part-time suits students. You work from your own place for 3 to 4 months, at Rs. 15,000 to 20,000 a month. If you need to travel to Ranchi for the project, you get up to Rs. 5,000 per visit.
Full-time is for graduates. You stay at IIM Ranchi for 3 months, at Rs. 20,000 to 25,000 a month. Outstation candidates may get up to Rs. 5,000 extra, but the total will not cross Rs. 30,000.
Do You Fit?
You should be studying or have studied Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Operations Management, Mathematics and Computing, or something close. It also helps if you know mathematical modelling, algorithms and coding, along with tools like MATLAB, CPLEX or MATHEMATICA. Generative AI is on the list too.
Selection and Exam Pattern
There is no test mentioned. They shortlist from CVs, and then interview you in person at Ranchi. So plan the travel if you are called, because you may have exams around that time.
