Route 1: Through the Entrance Test

Route 2: Through Your NET Score

The university is also admitting students on the basis of NET score, following a UGC circular from March 2024. If you are going this way, your work is not over after the form. You also need to send your documents to the given office by 5 December.

If you have a fellowship or scholarship through UGC-NET (JRF), CSIR-NET (JRF), GATE, CEED or a similar national test, you are exempted from the PET.

Before You Fill the Form

Here is a small checklist, which is our suggestion:

  1. Open the notice, and note your discipline’s test code.
  2. Read your school’s section in the brochure to see eligibility and fee.
  3. Talk to a faculty member in your area, if you can. Your research interest should fit what the department does.
  4. Prepare your scans early, so that a last-minute upload error does not trip you up.

After You Apply

The university plans to finish interviews and all admission work by 10 January 2027. Its interview schedule will be published on the website, so you should keep checking that. Do not wait for a message.
