Three Junior Assistant posts are for persons with benchmark disabilities. One post each of Section Officer and Senior Assistant is also reserved for them.
Who Can Apply?
Students and freshers should look at these posts first:
- Junior Assistant: you do not need a degree. You only need Class 12 and typing.
- Junior Library Assistant: you need a Bachelor’s in Library Science.
- Staff Nurse: you need B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing and six months in a 50-bed hospital.
- Sports Coach (Female): you need a Physical Education degree and a coaching diploma.
Section Officer and Senior Assistant ask for several years of work, so they do not suit freshers. The two deputation posts are only for serving officers.
Educational Qualification
For Junior Assistant, you should type 35 words per minute in English or 30 in Hindi on a computer. Two years of experience is listed as desirable, not essential. For the Caretaker version of this post, you also need an ITI certificate in Civil or Plumbing.
Your qualification must be complete by the closing date. So a result that is still pending may create a problem.

Salary Details
Junior Assistant is at Level 2 of the 7th Pay Commission. This level starts at a basic pay of Rs. 19,900, and allowances are added. Junior Library Assistant is at Level 3, which starts at Rs. 21,700. The advertisement only gives the levels, so the rupee figures here come from the standard central pay matrix.
Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The university may call you for a test, an interview or both. It can also shortlist if too many people apply. The exam scheme is on the university website, and not in the advertisement. So please read that before you start preparing.
Typing and basic computer use matter for this job. If your speed is below 35 wpm, try to practise for some time each day. This is our suggestion, not a university rule.

How to Check Your Typing Speed
The typing rule is the one most Class 12 applicants need to prepare for. Words per minute, or wpm, means how many words you type correctly in one minute. Many free typing test websites show this number after a short test.
Take the test three times, and note your average. If you are at 25 wpm in English today, try short daily practice instead of long sessions. Remember that the Hindi target is 30 wpm, so choose the language in which you are faster. The advertisement says the university may test computer skills at the time of selection.
